Title of the Position

Senior Product Assurance Engineer

Overall responsibility

They contribute to establish and maintain the technical and programmatic SPA requirements. They are also responsible to monitor the proper implementation of developer’s SPA program by assessing relevant processes & then evaluating outputs and products.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Give practical advice to the project members as how to execute a SPA program.
  • Participate in meetings, project reviews, CCBs (Configuration Control Boards), SRBs (Software Review Boards) & Software Delivery Boards.
  • Contribute to design trade offs.
  • Analyze and report by the use of metrics that supports project decisions.
  • Participate in the dispensation of Software Problem reports, Non Conformity Reports, Software Change Requests as required.
  • Support engineering processes for maintenance, validation and development of SW.
  • Ensure a satisfactory description of life cycle of SW in QMS procedures & work instructions.
  • Overview the execution of relevant SW standards; identify & manage probable deviations.
  • Overview the execution of task specific requirements of customers; identify & manage probable deviations.
  • Overview the growth of supporting SW infrastructure.
  • Ensure that requirements specified are traceable and are put into practice.
  • Make sure that documentation production, its distribution and storage is correct and is as per standards and requirements.
  • Approve test planning documentation, observe tests at all combination levels, & finally agree the test reporting documentation.
  • Make sure that the problems are traceable and that issues are executes in SW.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English
  • Relevant experience in professional software quality assurance.
  • Experience in critical software applications.
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
